Mrs. Dorothy Thompson Landers

Mrs. Dorothy Thompson Landers, 79, of Thomaston, died July 30, 2011, at Upson Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Landers was born on October 17, 1931, in Lamar County, daughter of the late Clarence Thompson and the late Frances W. Thompson. She was retired from the Georgia Department of Revenue and a part of the Cherokee Quilt Guild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar F. Landers.

Survivors include her daughters, Fran Landers of Winder, Joanna Landers of Lilburn; son and daughter in law, Mike and Mary Landers of Thomaston; sister, Betty Jo Elliott of Fayetteville; grandson, Micha S. Landers of Thomaston; several nieces and nephews.
