Mr. William E. “Buddy” McDaniel, 74, of Thomaston died July 12, 2011, at Upson Regional Medical Center.
Mr. McDaniel was born on May 13, 1937, in Harris County, son of the late Wade McDaniel and the late Unice Shipp McDaniel. He was a Mason and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was an agent with Life of Georgia for many years and retired from the Upson County Water Department. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Bradshaw McDaniel; sister, Jean Parker.
Survivors include his daughters and sons in law, Tina Christine and Rodney Fordham of Thomaston, Patty and Glenn Callaway of Concord; sons and daughters in law, Bill and Rhonda McDaniel of Thomaston, Jeff and Lucy McDaniel of Thomaston; sisters, Carol Wimberly of Talbotton, Wadene Sease of Charlotte, North Carolina; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
