Bowen "Bo" Alexander Story

l_QTznJdLXmIPpFuOtBowen Alexander Story (Bo), age 3, leaped into Jesus' arms on August 15, 2011 after winning his battle with cancer. His final days were spent at his home in Thomaston surrounded by family and friends that Bo had touched throughout his short, yet very memorable life.

Although he was only a little boy, Bo showed a tremendous resilience in the face of a terrible disease. Bo became known for his motto: "Be Strong, Be Bo Strong." Even though he could not say those words, he showed us through his actions how to be strong in the face of adversity and still enjoy the moments that life gives us. He possessed strength, perseverance, and an ability to overcome incredible odds and physical challenges. With his courage he led us to realize that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories.

He is survived by his parents, Scott and Britney Story, paternal grandparents, Terry and
Le Anna Morgan, maternal grandparents,Cathy and Ralph Matthews, aunts, Jessica Matthews and Stephanie Matthews, uncle, David (Christen) Matthews, cousins, Jonathan and Jacob Matthews, and Madison Hummer. There will be a celebration of Bo's life held on Saturday, August 20th 2011, at 3 P.M. in Mountain View Baptist Church in Thomaston, Georgia. Dr. Rex King will officiate. A reception will follow.
